Why dear me, I do not know you besides that one time you tried to shy me trying to imply I am looking for a father in the forum members here which was true to the extent that my father is not much of a philosopher and I was looking for a guidance on that level therefore I hold little animosity if any toward whoever you are and only expressed my opinion that you can refute or ignore or whatever instead of trying to use cynicism against me. If I wanted to tease a woman and pinch her arse I'd go to a pub, I would not do it here out of respect for this place. As to florals I too like other things about them, I very often think of how marvelous the design can be and how much it resembles what I'd wish to create counciously yet being created by an unconscious force, I look at a well put shade of dark red on a rose and I think of noble and respectful silence or courage. I will post some later.

My preference is for the realistic....the everyday captured, and preserved....a subtle detail lost in time, held captive for the eye to return to.

I posted it not as a reply to the previous post, I did not see the previous post before this was sent over. As a reply to satyr I'd have to think about it more.

The "doodles" demonstrate some small talent at least. There is potential. But there is a lot more unsaid by the content of the pictures. Obviously Phone has sex on the mind, passionate, good ol fashion, love making, fuck fest. That you share these, here, is important. The pictures represent something intimate by their content.

However are these much different than simple pornography? Are they unique? In my opinion, no they are not. They are rather simple and base, lacking complexity. Because it is one thing to be enamored and lustful, that is common among humanity and all life. It is another to demonstrate rare aspects of sex and sexuality. Perhaps Phone is a prude, without much experience, and most likely, never been properly dominated by a man.

The "lesbian" comment signifies nothing important. Males and females both sexual gravitate to the female body and form, since male and female are breastfed by a mother as infants, the root of eroticism (to suck on a woman's breast). So females naturally carry a hint of bi-sexuality. The more girlfriends and wives one man has, the more attractive he becomes to other women, who then ask themselves, "what's so special about that guy that he has multiple girlfriends?!?! I need to get to the bottom of this..."


If Phone had a more philosophical disposition, combined with the inkling of talent and skill with drawing, then I would see the content change in style. Simple pornography is not special; it's too common. Instead, draw a portrait of a unique aspect of sex or eroticism, romance. Make other points. Does the woman or man have long hair or short, what is their position, what is their environment, are they in a room, in a bed, what type of bed? What type of sheets or blankets? How much detail, would you show sweaty and mashed up, messy hair? Is the pair at the height of their love making, ready to climax?

All of these details are missing from the portraits, indicating the type of simplicity and baseness that I'm making a point to address....

For example, if I had the skill and inclination to draw as Phone has done here, then I would be inclined to draw a portrait of a woman, leaning over a short dresser, with one hand placed on the dresser, the other arm she's wiping sweat from her brow. She's naked with a smirk on her face, sweaty across her nude body. Behind her is a naked man. I don't know what he's doing but you can see him behind her. Are they done with their love making? Is it still ongoing? These questions would be left open by the image. This would be depicted in a bedroom, messy sheets. Perhaps a half drank bottle of wine and some empty wine glasses on a nightstand or small table in the room.

Details are the key, that's what makes average art into good art.
